Hello!

Please buy my things, such that you might enjoy them more than I have in recent history, and also that I might have both an emptier house and more money with which to fend off rampaging beavers and moose in the Great White North, eh?

Image

NB: Beaver has not shed over any items sold here. Mrs Metal, however, may have.

Opening with:

PAL Playstation 2 games!
Image

All are boxed with manual (except Rugby). Narnia and Pirates Of the Caribbean are both still factory sealed. The Getaway is the R@RE L@@K first edition in which you kill a BT engineer and nick his van. Yes, there are two copies of Vice City (one is mine, one is Mrs Metal's).

£25 for the lot.

More will follow.

What else have you got, Perkies? I don't have any means to play PS2 games!

2005 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer. 12,300 miles.
-Tax end of August 2012
-MOT middle of September
-1 previous owner
-service history (last serviced September 2011, trying to find receipt as they didn't stamp the book, PeeGee Two Wheeler Centre Caerphilly)
-all three keys including master

Mechanically sound, starts, runs and goes like a dream. Perfect for commuting, also fine for touring two up, good upright riding position. Fashionable underseat exhausts. Angry pinch-faced fairing.

Minor cosmetic issues are superficial furring on front forks, some spots of corrosion on radiator, odd black stain on handlebars. These were all present when bike was purchased in September 2009 and have not gotten worse. Ridden year round but kept garaged, covered and treated with FS365 and ACF50.

Extras:
-R&G crash bungs
-Dealer fitted Scottoiler
-Optimate charger

Special price for BeeXers only before it goes on ebay: £2300, open to sensible offers. Test rides welcome, provided you give me the asking price in CASH and show me your insurance.

Reason for sale: Leaving the country!

I also have some goodies available if they're of interest to the buyer, including:
-Kappa K35 top box and mounting plate (not the whole mount! The box and the plate it locks onto). Enough room for one helmet or 8-10 cans!
-Oxford Maximiser battery charger. Bike has never needed it, car has!
-bottles of FS365, ACF50 and Scottoiler blue.
-a big thick chain not unlike this, about three feet long. Not cable, not chains, but steel ball joints.
-Oxford Brute Force ground anchor, still boxed, never used.

PM me if interested

I may be interested in the charger and the anchor. How big is it?

Anchor is this thing. Charger is this.

I should have (and have now) made it clearer in the ad that the goodies are intended more for the buyer of the bike, if only because they're a bit heavy to be posting around the country as individual items. So long as you accept postage might be high, it's fine.

Any interest in a Sega Saturn with some extras? Steering wheel, extra pad, some games?

Your formatting is broken here dude, 80 character lines all the way through, which makes the advert a chore to read.

Yeah, just noticed that too. It shows up fine in Chrome (which I had to use because the photo uploading doesn't like Safari) but then fucked in Safari. Fixed it now.

It's a UK Model 2 Saturn with one official pad, one excellent ASCIIPad, and the official Arcade Racer steering wheel. Also includes RF cable and power cable. I've modded it to not detect the disc door opening to make swap tricks easier, this is easily undone by just removing the piece of tape inside.

Games are:
-Sega Rally
-Virtua Fighter
-Worldwide Soccer
-NiGHTS: Into Dreams
-Daytona USA: Championship Circuit Edition
(there might be another one but I'm not sure)

Whole thing goes as a bundle, I'm going to say £30 plus postage?

So, bike has sold, for £2000.

My buyer is in Nairn of all places, so my '£100 Paypal deposit then the rest in cash' thing doesn't work without a 1,000 mile round trip for him.

He is therefore proposing a complete transfer of the money directly into my bank account and then will have a bike collection and delivery company bring it up to him.

It sounds okay to me... is there anything dodgy that could scam me here? How long should I let the funds sit in my account to ensure it's all legit before I release it to him? If I remind him that there's no returns, sold as described/seen and so on, there's no comeback if he changes his mind, is there? Even though he can't sign a contract of sale as such?

If the money is in your account, that's all she wrote, surely?

I'm asking as the last time I sold a car privately, it was for £400 and the guy actually came and bought it in person and handed me the cash. Doing it like this is a new experience and I don't want to get scammed.

Pretty sure there's no 'clawback' on a bank transfer.

As the registered keeper I'm meant to send the V5 to the DVLA after we've both signed it, and leave him with the New Keeper Supplement. How is that going to work??

Would anyone be interested in a Sharp multi-system TV/VCR combo? Plays all the world's video tapes, also would be of interest to retro console owners as it will cope with old systems.

It's a 21" or 24" version of this.

It's huge and heavy so you will need to collect it.
