It’s Malc’s fairy gateway that’s done it.

I should have read this thread instead of posting in forum changes! It's been dog slow for most of the last couple of days for me, with bursts of regular-speed-ness every 8-12 hours.

Maybe I should stop constantly refreshing to see if it's normal again yet.

Ah, I did do a thing, as it turned out the problem was that Beex was getting hammered by bots.

I'll up the limit a bit.

RLLMUK has been struggling with thousands of connections from LLM bots.

There's gonna be a point soon where so much LLM junk is on the internet that most of the training that new LLMs do is going to be on generated content. That might get pretty weird.

I saw a video on Youtube shorts the other day that was people telling bad Dad Jokes and it took me a disturbing amount of time to realise that is was AI generated.

Probably not too far off either. So much of the internet is just so shit now.

What happened with all that NFT bullshit? All the cybermugs realised it was a pyramid scheme?

The vast majority lost some or all of their value. though somewhat amazingly, others have held on and aren't complete junk.

Honestly that's a bit of a surprise to me - I assumed they'd have all crashed to zero by now. I'm pretty certain that all those "NFTs will lead to untold levels of creativity and collaboration" projects never actually came into being though - I bet there's a ton of shitty prototype MMOs and crappy drafts of screenplays kicking about somewhere.

Considering that it's quite a dry topic and this video is over two hours long, I've watched it a whole bunch of times. It explains the whole thing and explains why crypto is massively flawed too.

They all moved onto the "meme coin" rug pull industry. There are literally sites where you create new coins, wait for the right moment, then sell all your coins for massive damage to all the unfortunate people who haven't realised that it's a scam. Coffeezilla has done stuff on it.

We're at the point where we burn the planet *just* to rip people off. At least with oil and coal you get a warm, lit house and a moving car.

Despite having annual asthma reviews, this week I did my first peak flow rate test since I was a child. I got 150l/m

I looked this up, and apparently this is only acceptable if I’m under 100cm tall, which I’m not.

Indeed. I'm asthmatic and I usually blow around 500-600

One time, a few weeks ago, I printed something where I wanted two pages to fit on one sheet. Worked fine.

Since that day EVERYTHING prints at 2 pages to a sheet. But get this: it happens no matter which printer I use. But get THIS: it happens no matter if I’m printing from my laptop, phone or iPad.

The preview is one sheet per page, but then SURPRISE everything is half sized.

And I CAN of course change it back. Specify one page per sheet. But the next time I forget to adjust it before printing and HAHA, two tiny pages for me!

Still missing though the police did post a photo of the two left behind in case anyone didn’t know what a hand grenade looked like.
