Another game to add to my PS4 collection. I have about ten games already and I don't even plan on getting a console until 2015.

But obviously if it was a straight choice between Console A and Console B and they cost the same / had roughly the same stuff on them but you already have 10 games for Console A then your more likely to buy that one ?

Well, quite. But they're not.

I always felt like Hotline Miami needed keyboard and mouse rather than a joypad (alongside skills with the mouse I just didn't have), so I drifted away from the ps3 version. Just tried it again on the vita due to cross play and it's come alive. Definitive version for me.

Tapping to target alongside duel sticks is glorious.

It's a fantastic use of the touchscreen on the Vita version. I actually think it's the definitive version of the game because of it.

For no particular reason I decided to fire this up for the first time in a long time last night, and for some reason totally got into the groove with it, which I'd never managed to do before. Really good fun.

And that music is to die for.

Just a little bit late to this one! Last week I downloaded it as part of my PS Plus games subscription.

The first couple of plays, it didn't really click with me and I found it frustrating. Somewhere around the fourth mission/level I got pretty stuck and just couldn't get anywhere. I did like the style, the music is ace (especially once I realised that the kids had turned the subwoofer off and sorted that out) and the weird vibe is neat.

A couple of days later I blew through that level without too much hassle and the next couple of levels too, it felt like it clicked, like I understood better what needed to be done and also how to do it. It's a cool feeling to rampage through a place laying waste to everyone in the way, and at times it feels a bit like it has rhythm game elements.

Cool game.

Yeah, I didn't get on with it at all. I'm sure it would click at some point, but I gave it a few chances and it didn't happen.

It's not too bad but don't have much KBAM experience so I can't really give anything meaningful; and in the heat of the moment sometimes I get a bit flustered and press the wrong button anyway.

What i'm saying is, I can't tell how many of the many, many deaths are down to the controller being challenging compared to me just being not very good.

Although I feel I'm pretty close to the end, just stormed up to the second floor of a Police Station but the number of 'big guys' is making it tricky.
